50 Shades of Gray

This is my transition from summer to fall! The knit shorts and booties scream F/W but are still appropriate for the warm weather. Everything I wear is very calculated and color-coordinated. The print on my top has all of the hues that are on my shorts and heels. Can we talk about my shoes! I absolutely LOVE lucite heels- they're so chic. Chloe and Prada have made the most beautiful lucite heels ever! I was so thrilled to find these booties at Asos because not only are the heels transparent, but they are ombre! They are very cutting edge. (Top- Express, Shorts- Asos, Shoes- Asos)

Blue Jeans, White Shirt

Lana Del Rey inspired this outfit. The shirt and cutoffs are pretty plain for the most part, but dressed up with python print shoes; I like looks to be really clean. I got the pumps around a year ago and still haven't worn them out. I'm a major shoe addict. (Shirt- Candie's, Shorts- Abercrombie & Fitch, Heels- Bakers)

Beetlejuice

I love this shirt because it reminds me of my ex-boyfriend. No matter how many shirts he owns, he always wears his favorite black and white pinstriped dress shirt. My skirt is really pretty, the knot makes it look so unique! I got these shoes at Bloomingdale's for prom 2011, which I didn't end up going to because of dress disagreements with my date hahaha. I love my mom so much for letting me keep them. :) (Shirt- Foreign Exchange, Skirt- NastyGal, Heels- Sam Edelman)

Spike Up Your Life

This is a typical summer look: high waisted shorts and a light top. I like small details like the spikes on my collar and the studs on my shorts. I guess Lana Del Rey does too because I saw pics of her in these shorts!!! That made me happy. This is also my first look not wearing black. I hate wearing cream but the darker version of this top sold out at Urban. (Top- Urban Outfitters, Shorts- Urban Outfitters, Shoes- Dolce Vita)

Fashion's Night Out!

This was my outfit for FNO 2012! :) I went to the Beverly Center with a friend and it was really fun. Every store was lit up, popping bubbly, and swarming with customers. All the fashionistas came out to play. Lisa Love, Lucy Hale, Kendra Wilkinson, and Kendall Jenner graced us with their presence. I'm not really a fan of any of them haha but it was fun nontheless! I've been a follower of FNO since it was created to boost sales in the declining economy, but I've never been able to go since Thursday was always a school night. I love that UCI starts so late- this has been the longest summer ever! :)

This peplum top is one of my favs. The mesh insert is sexy yet subtle and not too revealing. Also, these shoes are amazing. I've only worn them three times because I overheard some cruel guy saying that they looked like they were made out of a table. Some people just don't understand f a s h i o n hahaha. My feet were aching and blistered by the end of the night but flats weren't an option tonight. (Top- Foreign Exchange, Skirt- Express, Shoes- Jeffrey Campbell)

Pretty in Pucci

I found this bustier from Nasty Gal and it gave me an Emilio Pucci Spring 2012 vibe so I had to get it. I tried to emulate the look but full length skirts make me feel short so I opted for a mullet skirt instead. The detail on this top is exquisite and delicate, it's like lingerie worn as outerwear. I wore this to a soirĂ©e last night but with nude heels to elongate my legs. I felt like Lily from Black Swan when she danced so free and imprecise as Nina watched with envy. Somehow I connect everything to Black Swan. (Top- Nasty Gal, skirt- Guess, heels- Jeffrey Campbell)
